Description
Introducing Snowy Creek Flyfishing Chameleon Tippet. This stuff is unbelievable. It has been described as “bullshit strong” by more than one field tester. Not only is it super fine and coloured up to disappear when in the water, it has an insane breaking strength. Forget what you know about ‘X” ratings for tippets, this stuff re-writes the rules on how strong a 5X tippet can be. This tippet material is a camouflagued supple monofilament with good knot strength and limited stretch. These defining characteristics make it a good choice for everyday use in most situations. It offers great knot strength and low visibility in the water.
Every knot is the potential weak link between angler and fish – the knot in the finest tippet is therefore most crucial. The wise angler will always take good care when drawing a knot tight! But be careful when over tightening a knot with Snowy Creek Flyfishing Chameleon Tippet, put too much tension on the line and it will cut your hands before it breaks. As the label says, “Stupid Fine, Stupid Strong”.
Mono Tippet Characteristics:
Low memory
High knot and tensile strength
High abrasion resistance

These ratings are only test levels, but we have seen huge breaking strain from this tippet that adds several pounds to the rating of every size. This tippet is STRONG!
